Overview

Liberon Floor Oil offers a hard-wearing natural soft sheen for interior wooden floors. The micro-porous formulation preserves and protects wooden floors against stains and scratches whilst allowing the wood to still breath. It provides a long-lasting smooth finish that is slip, water, and heat resistant making it ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Designed especially for untreated real wooden floors it offers great protection whilst enhancing the colour and grain of the natural wood.

Preparation

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust.

• Sand the floor and remove any previous finishes.
• If required colour the wood with before oiling.
• Ensure the surface is clean and dry.

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be oiled to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• Apply using a brush, cloth or roller.
• Work in the direction of the wood grain.
• Allow the oil to penetrate the surface for 10-20 minutes.
• Wipe the surface with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove any excess oil.
• Apply a further 2 coats as above allowing a minimum of 12 hours between coats.
• Sand lightly between coats.
• Allow to dry for 24 hours before heavy usage.

Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.

Aftercare & Storage

Cleaning

Surfaces may be cleaned using a damp cloth and spills should be wiped up immediately. For stubborn stains us a mild detergent alternatively, lightly sand the affected area and re-apply the Floor Oil.

Maintenance

Re-oil the surface when they become dull or dry.
